Professor Louise Ackers

Louise Ackers holds a Chair in Global Social Justice at the University of Salford. She has worked for many years on the mobilities of the highly skilled with a focus on equality aspects and knowledge mobilisation. Louise is Chair of a UK registered charity (Knowledge for Change) which focuses on improving health systems change and the promotion of ethical educational placements in Uganda. Louise is involved in work on the experiences of limb loss in Uganda and will be working to optimise the impact of the research.
